Then, we had our editors test 20 different versions at The Verywell Testing Lab. To select the best pack and plays, we consulted with three pediatricians about what parents should look for in a playpen. Additionally, you’ll want to find one that fits within your budget and has the features you need, such as a bassinet or changing table. You may also want to consider how easy it is to set up, take apart, and travel with a pack and play. First and foremost, you want to make sure it’s safe and uses the mattress and fitted sheet intended for that product instead of a version made by another manufacturer. “If the mattress and sheet don’t fit perfectly, there can be gaps and loose bedding that can lead to risk of entrapment or accidental suffocation,” says Benjamin Hoffman, MD, CPST-I, FAAP, pediatrician and professor at Oregon Health & Science University and president-elect of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). When purchasing a pack and play (also known as a playpen or travel crib), there are several features you’ll want to consider. Most pack and plays can be used beyond the infant stage and they create a great area for your little one to play as they begin to roll over and sit up. Finally, when my order was received on their end and the refund confirmed, I got $16.99 back on the card, instead of $19.99 I originally paid! The babiesrus also wanted me to pay for the shipping that they messed up! I'm not going to call back about those $3, but that's one of the examples of what this dysfunctional company does.Whether you plan to travel with your baby or simply need an extra spot in the house for them to nap, a pack and play (or Pack ‘n Play, Graco’s trademarked name for play yards) is an essential item for every new parent. I called their customer service to let them know of the mistake and to make sure they refund me $19.99, not $16.99 price for the sheet. The invoice, however, listed the pad instead. Instead of the cover, sent me a crib sheet. My order included a changing pad cover, which was $19.99. I was unfortunate enough to get their gift card recently. What a difference that was! I was even able to return a registry gift for the full price (not promotional price) back at no cost. ![]() I had another baby last year and used Amazon for the registry. You do earn rewards with the card, but the money you earn expire very fast, so even though I've earned over $100 in "rewards", I didn't have a chance to use ANY of those. Was excited with their "rewards" card, which is pretty much garbage. I was a first time mom and I guess didn't know any better. I literally gave away hundreds of my money to this horrible place by overpaying. ![]() I had my daughter's registry there a couple of years ago. The prices are about 25% higher than anywhere else, the selection sucks, the customer service is USELESS, the ONE order I've placed recently came screwed up. This is the absolute WORST store to shop for babies or have a registry. If not, I will go elsewhere and pay full price, as far as I'm concerned this is a SCAM. My only alternative is to go direct to the store to make my purchases, and all I have to say is they had better accept the 15% credit coupon, and I had better receive the online pricing. I have already missed the baby shower (it was on 8/5). This is THE MOST un-friendly website I have ever dealt with and I am extremely unhappy with this service. So, card received and activated, and when I tried to place my order online just an hour ago, it would not accept the Application Key Code for the 15% off and gives me an error. Finally, I just decided to wait until the card came in the mail. I tried several more times to place my order. I printed out the '15% off' form that has the application key code on it, but when I tried to print off the temporary shopping pass, the page went blank. ![]() After seeing that I could receive an additional 15% off, I applied for the 'R Us' card, and I was approved immediately. I've tried for 2 weeks now to purchase items from your online site for my new granddaughter, due to arrive in September.
